We speak a lot about online marketing, which is a crucial part of any business strategy and super important. But, there’s still a lot to be said for offline marketing and the opportunity that holds for dental practice owners.

When it comes to offline marketing, we can break it down into three key components, shop, street, and suburb.

Shop

When it comes to things we can do in the shop, we mean:

  • Window features
  • Point of sale signage
  • Brochures
  • TV
  • Videos playing
  • Before and after photos

Street

This might include:

  • Signage
  • Banner signage
  • Awning signage
  • An A-frame
  • Or maybe even car signage

Suburb

This encompasses any efforts you do in the local community, such as:

  • Street signs
  • Radio and TV
  • Bus shelters
  • Sponsors
  • Engaging in the local community
  • Partnerships
  • Even guerilla marketing

Offline marketing is a great opportunity to get creative and have a lot of fun with your marketing.

It’s about thinking about things that others haven’t, examining things that have been done in the past.

While it’s not the most cutting edge technology, we can also learn a lot by exploring old-school marketing techniques and campaigns – because there’s a lot of wisdom and efficacy in them.

We can always stand to learn more, especially from those who came before us and maybe have a different point of view or timeless principles we can integrate.
